Brady Township
BUTLER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
Snow Removal
In order to assist the Roadmaster during snow removal, we suggest the following:
Road Maintenance
Brady Township has appointed Robert McConnell as the Roadmaster for 21.75 miles of roads. The Roadmaster, along with working supervisors provides the community with road maintenance and repairs. They also are responsible for storm sewer and drainage work as well as snow and ice removal, street signs, equipment and vehicle maintenance.
Brady Township road crew makes every effort to keep the road cleared during inclement weather. Please be aware that Brady Township is only responsible for snow removal on local municipal roads. This does not include Route 8, Route 173 and Route 528. If you have issues with these roads, please contact PennDOT at 724-284-8800 for questions or complaints.
Remember:
When the snow starts to fall, please keep in mind a few do's and don't:
A truck with a raised plow does not necessarily mean your area has been completed. They may be returning for fuel, additional materials, assisting in an emergency, etc. The state and county are responsible for state and county roads.
Private roads and private lanes are not the township's responsibility. If you see a township road condition that needs attention, please call the township roadmaster, Robert McConnell, at 724-679-1073.
